Participants will learn the value of oysters to the ecological well-being of the Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay as well as growing an oyster garden.

New 2021 activity for Northern Neck Master Naturalistst at Westmoreland State Park with opportunity for interested volunteers to become involved. Activities will include maintenance and cleaning of oyster floats, participation in education programs and development of exhibits.
