International Coastal Cleanup/Clean VA Waterways--Mid-Summer Clean Up

 For the third year, we are looking for a few volunteers to pick up trash along Hughlett Point. 

The mid-summer cleanup will be on Monday, July 28 (low tide 8:36 a.m.)

We will meet at the parking lot at 8:00 a.m.  Bags, water, and insect repellant will be provided.  Please bring your own gloves and pickup tongs.   The pickup works best with a minimum of 6 volunteers: 2 groups picking up on each side of the inlet, but the more the better.  Typically, it takes about 2-3 hours to complete, and it doubles as a wonderful hike along the Chesapeake.
