For the third year, we are looking for a few volunteers to pick up trash along Hughlett Point. 

This year we will have a late spring, mid-summer and early fall pickups.

The first pick-up will be on Thursday, May 29 (low tide 7:58 a.m.)

The second pick-up will be on Monday, July 28 (low tide 8:36 a.m.)

The third pick-up will be on Thursday, September 25 (low tide 7:39 a.m.)

We will meet at the parking lot at 8:00 a.m.  Bags, water, and insect repellant will be provided.  Please bring your own gloves and pickup tongs.   The pickup works best with a minimum of 6 volunteers: 2 groups picking up on each side of the inlet, but the more the better.  Typically, it takes about 2-3 hours to complete, and it doubles as a wonderful hike along the Chesapeake.
