The Rappahannock River Valley Wildlife Refuge has asked the NNMN for volunteer assistance with their native plant gardens. The scheduled workday is Wednesday, October 14, 2026. Work will begin at the Wilna Lodge location at 9:00am. Please bring basic gardening hand tools, water, and a snack. No experience needed. Heather Bedford will be on-site to show you what the weeds are. If you haven't worked at the refuge, please RSVP to Heather Bedford so she can have enough volunteer forms.
